One of the worlds most renowned smart phone maker BlackBerry has slashed the prices of its previous Q series smart phone, the BlackBerry Q5 drastically.
The BlackBerry had quite nice features like the 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 3.1 inch capacitive screen and QWERTY keypad and ran on BB10 OS. It also had 5 mega pixels primary camera and 2 mega pixels secondary camera for making video calls. It had 8 GB internal memory and further the memory could be expanded using a micro SD card. The phone had nice and fine battery life with a 2100 mAh battery.
The phone had quite efficient features and could have been a success but the phone was priced at Rs.25000 basing on the reputation of the company, thus it had to suffer a heavy loss as the phone flopped in the markets show down. There were a lot of smart phones with highly better features and the cost was even lot lesser than the BlackBerry Q5.
After this downfall of the smart phone BlackBerry has finally decreased the price of the smart phone by Rs.5000, which is quite heavy. We hope that this change works for them as even at this price there are branded smart phones which cost lesser than Rs20000 and have a lot of higher features with quality.
