As expected and mentioned in yesterday’s post Samsung has launched the Mini version of its Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung Galaxy S III Mini. This is the compact version of the Samsung Galaxy S III Android Smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy S III Mini features a 4″ WVGA Super AMOLED Display, 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor, 1 GB RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System, a 5 MP Auto Focus Rear Camera with LED Flash & a VGA Front Camera, 8 GB/ 16 GB Internal Memory Expandable up to 32 GB, and is powered by 1,500 mAh Battery. This Android Smartphone also features 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, S-Beam, NFC, GPS, and many more.

This smartphone has inherited the S-Beam feature of its original version. This S-Beam feature allows the user to share a file very fast than Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. For Example the user wants to share a file of 10 MB it shall take only a second or two to share it on S-Beam. To share files via S-beam another device that is S-Beam enabled is required. This S-Beam is also featured on Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II.
This Android Smartphone has also inherited Smart Stay, Direct Call and S voice feature from the Galaxy S III. S Voice is Samsung’s voice recognition software to unlock the Smartphone, Play Favorite Songs, Organize Schedule, Launch Camera and take photos. The Smart Stay feature lets the Screen lit till the Users eyes are open or looking at it, while the Direct Call feature lets you to make calls directly to friends while reading their messages by lifting the Smartphone near to the ears and the Smart Alert features alerts the user about a missed call or an unread message as soon as the user picks up the phone.
Nothing has been clarified about the avaibility of Samsung Galaxy S III and its Price in India, but is expected to be ranging between R.20,000 to Rs.25,000.
