One of the World’s Largest Railway Operators, Indian Railways has launched a web-based Application RailRadar. RailRadar is an Interactive Train monitoring application for passengers who seek for a Train’s Location in real time. Indian Railways has launched this web-based application which is an interactive map on Google to track location and movements of trains online, to facilitate passengers.
This application allows the passengers to locate trains on real-time that too online. This new web-based application, RailRadar is exclusive on both computer and mobile phones. This Train Monitoring Web-Based Application, RailRadar is developed by a Railway PSU Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS) along with RailYatri which is a real-time tracker of all passenger trains traffic.
RailRadar offers an Interactive map on Google Map which will help out Passengers in tracking their Trains in real time. This online application uses color codes, Blue for those trains that are on time & Red color for those trains that are delayed or are running behind the scheduled time. To avail the services of this wonderful web-based application, RailRadar the passenger needs to click on a particular train, then the map will display the route of the train including the current position of the train.
