Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced new reduced EVDO Prepaid data Plans 2012, for its EVDO Data Card users, to be more competitive in the Wireless Broadband market. BSNL has again cut down its EVDO Data Tariff eyeing the competitive Wireless Broadband market.
BSNL EVDO offers up to 3.1 Mbps Download speed and up to 1.8 Mbps Upload speed on its EVDO Rev A Network. BSNL has introduced two new reduced EVDO Tariff plans priced at Rs.200 & Rs.399. These two low-cost EVDO Data Tariff Plans offers 2 GB and 5 GB High-Speed Data usage respectively with 30 days of Validity, from the recharge date.

According to these plans from BSNL which offers 2 GB & 5 GB of Free High-Speed Data usage, after free usage it offers 10p/100 KB for peak hours which is from 7 AM to 11 PM and 5p/100 KB off-peak hours which is between 11PM to 7 AM.
Now the Wireless Broadband market is being dominated mostly by Reliance, Tata Docomo and MTS India, who are offering wireless broadband connection through their Netconnect+, Photon+ and MBlaze Respectively. Also with 3G Data tariffs reduced consumers are now moving on for 3G data usage which is offering faster Data Usage.
