BSNL planned to launch FTH facility (Fibre to Home) by end of this month. This FTH facility will launch for the customers of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. This FTH facility offers a high speed up to 100 mbps on Internet. The customers could download a movie in just one minute. Senior General Manager G C Pandey said, most of the popular TV channels, and landline phone services were annexed with FTH.
Recently BSNL launched video calling from land-line in India. Mr. G C Pandey also said, BSNL planned to extend FTH service at the Global Investor Meet, slated In October for which mobile towers were erected. To get the FTH connection with a speed of 100 mbps costumers would have to pay around Rs. 84,000 per month and installation charges would be around Rs. 1000.
