Apple has launched its most awaited nex-generation iPhone , i.e. iPhone 5, at the live event on 12th September, 2012. With the launch of the new iPhone Apple has also announced its updated mobile Operating System iOS 6.
iOS 6 will be available for free download and is compatible in iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch (4th Generation), iPad2 and the new iPad (3rd Generation). The introduction of iOS 6 will not be that game changing as the iOS 5 which introduced iCloud, wireless sync, iMessage, Notification Centre and lots more new iFeatures to its iOS.
The iOS 6 is loaded with several features let it be regarding its new features or the updated and improved old features as posted on its web page. There are 5 most eye-catching features among all other features.
1. Facebook Integration
This new feature is all that is similar to Twitter Integration that arrived in iOS 5, in terms of work.With this new Integration which shall let you to update your status, post links, add location, upload photos using Siri. With this updated app will allow you to enter your Facebook Credentials from the Settings Menu.
2. iCloud Tabs
The latest feature whih was introduced with iOS 5 will come in form of iCloud Tabs in the new iOS. The Safari’s main enhancement displays links to web pages that is opened on other Apple Devices.
3.Maps
This is a new feature from Apple that will soon replace the Google Maps. The Maps features all same as the Google Maps with turn-by-turn navigation, traffic reports and local search but the main difference cane be noticed at the Flyovers. Another feature of this new updated version is its compatibility with Siri which shall lets its users to plan out their destination just by verbal words.
4.New Call Options
The iOS 6 offers new call options like Do Not Disturb, Handling Incoming calls by special reminders for important calls rather than the old call options that was offered on the older versions of the iOS.
5. Passbook
This is an exclusive unique app on iPhone 5 and iPod Touch that features as a central hub for all passes and tickets in place of Paper tickets or boarding passes or coupons or any other gift cards. You can use your device that shall function the same as the above whereever required.
