Google has advanced a lot and now been offering many services, and one of its service is the voice search functionality. In fact, the search giant offers voice search via an application for the iPhone as a competitor to Siri. The feature was also a Siri like competitor that has been ruling on the Android devices for a while. With Siri speaking multiple languages, how could Google remain behind and therefore it has has added 13 new languages to its voice search.
Some of the new languages that have been added to the Google voice search apps are given below:-
- Basque
- Bulgarian
- Catalan
- European
- Portuguese
- Finnish
- Galician
- Hungarian
- Icelandic
- Norwegian
- Romanian
- Serbian
- Slovak
- Swedish
Google’s voice search app now supports 42 languages in total with the addition of these 13 new languages. Google is still in the process of rolling out the update and expects the full rollout to be complete by next week. The app supports only one language spoken at a time, which really makes sense. Who would speak Spanish and Finnish into the app at once? The new languages will be available in the language settings area once the update is completely rolled out. Given below is a video which will make all your doubts clear about the app.
