Earlier this year LG withdrew the promise, Android ICS update for the LG Optimus 2X. Now the Korean manufacturer seems to be back with the update on track after all. Last time LG Canada mentioned the cancellation of the ICS update for Optimus 2X.
According NDTV Gadgets LG Korea has tweeted that optimus 2X shall be getting an Android ICS update as soon as possible basing on the results of upcoming tests. In its report it has also mentioned that the update is only confirmed for the Korean Optimus 2X users but if the company is able to provide the update for the devices that are in Korea then it will surely be able to provide the update for rest parts of the world.
Though nothing has been cleared regarding the update for the Korean users. This is also in news that the company is testing an Android Ice Cream sandwich update for the LG Optimus 3D. Lets watch with fingers crossed over the ICS update for the LG Optimus 2X and Optimus 3D.
