Leading utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra launched a new version of its Verito. The new Verito is also re-desgined and re-featurised and available in both petrol and diesel. The new Mahindra Verito has undergone a lot of changes regarding its features which includes improved ergonomics, redesigned exteriors and interiors and uncompromised safety.
The car which is priced between Rs.5,27,000 and Rs.7,14,000 (Ex-Showroom Price) will take on rivals like Maruti Suzuki’s Swift DZire which is priced between Rs.4,88,000 – Rs.7,35,000 (Ex-Showroom Price) and Toyota Etios which is priced between Rs.5,14,000 – Rs.8,23,000 (Ex-Showroom Price). The New Verito is Rs.7,000 – Rs.19,000 more expensive across variants, than the previous version.
Mr. Pravin Shah, Chief Executive, automotive division, M&M, said,”The new car is more stylish and contemporary, feature packed and with convenient ergonomics that was a sore point in its predecessor”. He added,”It has always been a sensible buy, is now even more attractive with its enhanced style quotient”.
He also said,”We have tripled Verito Volume in the last two years. In the last fiscal we sold 18000 units of the car and this year we are looking to outperform the industry growth”. The company’s plant at Nashik in Maharastra has an annual capacity of producing 20,000 units of Verito, Shah Said.
The New Verito sedan has many changes as well as new fatures. The car is available in 5 different models G2, G4, D2, D4 & D6. The G2 & G4 are the petrol engined variants while D2, D4 & D6 are the diesel engined variants. The petrol model is loaded with 1.4L MPFI petrol engine, producing 75 Bhp – 104 Nm while the diesel model is loaded with 1.5L dCi CRDi engine generating 65 Bhp- 160 Nm. The New Verito is very much millage efficient, its millage is about 21.03 kmpl (Diesel mileage as per ARAI).

The car has been furnished with Chrome-plated front grille, Eyebrow shaped Headlights, New stylish front bumper with stylish Fog lamps, Classy new alloy wheels, stylish roof rails & blackened pillars, New clear lens tail lamps & new rear bumper with integrated reflectors. The interiors are also refined & re-furnished with a two-tone instrumental panel, variometric AC with ergonomic controls, Electric ORVM controls & Door-mounted power window switches.It is available in 8 attractive colours- Fiery Black, Diamond White, Dolphin Grey, Toreador Red, Java Brown, Mist Silver, Rocky Beige & Twilight Blue.
