Hackers Claim: 4,50,000 Account’s Passwords Hacked from a Yahoo Server

It is in News that an Unknown hacker group which calls itself D33DS Company claims to have hacked into an unidentified sub-domain of Yahoo‘s website where they found un-encrypted account details. The hacked accounts appeared to belong to a voice over Internet Protocol (VOiP) service of Yahoo, Yahoo Voices, it runs on Yahoo’s instant messenger.

The Times Of India stated the Voices hack is one of several in recent months. It adds more stating that the business networking service LinkedIn has admitted that 6.4 Million users password were hacked last month from its website last month.

According to CNET the hacker intentions was not to threat rather to aware the websites about such dangers. CNET describes this incident to be a “Wake-Up Call”.

This is true that actions should be taken in the password Security field by the Websites or else we shall be hearing about such hackings on a day to day basis.
