Microsoft has finally announced that Windows 8 will be releasing in October. Microsoft also stated that its OEMs will have it during the first week in August. Before, during the Announcement of its maiden tablet “Surface“, it was declared that this tablet shall offer Windows 8 as its OS.
Microsoft’s Partners are likely to recieve the OS before hand so that their hardware gets loaded with the software before it gets available in October. Microsoft also revealed that, once the software is released the Windows user shall be able to upgrade to the new OS at mere cost of $40 through online connection. It also cleared that with the launch of Windows 8, it is going to begin the Commerce Platform for its Windows App Store, for App developers to start money earning.
Windows 8 is totally different than Windows 7. Windows 7 brought Microsoft lots of profit and was declared the best seller with a sale of more than 630 million copies. Lets hope that Windows 8 also fetch it much more glories.
