Google Announced Nexus Q A Competitor of Apple TV

Google has announced the first social streaming media player at I/O conference in US known as Nexus Q. The Google Nexus Q is the competitor of Apple TV. The social streaming media player Nexus Q can stream content like music, movies and TV shows. So now you can enjoy the music, movies and TV shows right on your TV. The Nexus Q will be able to create a playlist on Android devices running on Android 2.3 and higher versions.

By using your Google Play or YouTube accounts you can play your favorite content. It also allows you to collaborate with friends with your Android device to create playlists of music and video clips. The Google Nexus Q runs on Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Teh device is powered by a dual-core OMAP4460. It comes with an internal storage capacity of 16 GB. It supports WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth, Mini HDMI port, Micro USB port to connect the TV and Speakers. It comes with a pair of speakers with 5W amp.

The Google Nexus Q will available with a price tag of $299. So with the first social streaming media player Google Nexus Q.
