After a lot of waiting google is finally bringing Google TV and its related hardware devices to the UK. Two massive companies Google and Sony say that pre orders for the NSZ-GS7 Internet Player should start today and the delivery will start in the middle of July. Apart from the news Sony will also be offering Google TV on one of its new Blu-ray players particularly model number the NSZ-GP9. Both will allow you to take advantage of Google TV features, including full internet browsing with Chrome, Android apps, and YouTube playback.

On the official Google TV blog, the company points out how UK users will be able to use BBC iPlayer on Google TV also they will be able to enjoy hundreds of apps that have been optimized for use on televisions. While Google is not that effective with the platform in the US but it’s hoping lower price points combined with a revamped version of the software will break new ground. The availability of Google TV outside of the United States should also help.
Other countries that will be seeing Sony’s Internet Player include Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico and The Netherlands. You can expect to see some other news about Google TV coming up at Google I/O, which is going to be coming around on June 27th.
