Amkette launches the new Evo Tv which allows user to access internet on TV. It makes entertainment on TV a new definition. The Evo Tv is powered by the Android OS 2.3.4 Ginger Bread, this allows you to access videos, games and websites using internet connection let it be WI-Fi or Broadband. The Android platform also allows you to access different apps from the android application market.
It comes with a remote which acts like a mouse which makes its use more simple and convenient. It also has a Mic which allows the user to use voice and video chat using VOIP services like those of skype & others. It is integrated with four components: Evo Box, Evo Touch, Evo View and Evo discover which makes it a different device in the form of a TV. This features makes it an useful device at home which allows you to surf on internet as well as allows you to listen and watch movies and music. It can also be use as an educating device.
This device has been researched and designed in Bangalore And Delhi where as manufactured in China. With this product the company is expecting a handful growth in its revenue up to 70-75%. Another fact about the product is that it is priced at just Rs 9950 which is likely to enter market of major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Banglore and Kolkata by the end of June. It will launch in other major cities by August.
