After Orkut loosing its popularity google introduced google+, its one kind of social networking site by google. Google+ when firstly launched it was not that refined but now google has completely changed the interface of it and has made some new improvements. Now its more user friendly and the interface is good than before. Apart from that Google+ has copied some of the features of social networking site Facebook.
So here given below are the changes that has been done in order to make google+ better.
Sidebar has become more flexible:-
Now in the new google+ interface, all the essential navigation buttons are transported to the left in a flexible sidebar ribbon. So now with the new sidebar being introduced it is much easier to use with large icons for each option. Each of these options are highlighted on mouse. Not only that another good thing about this new sidebar is that all the options can be realigned according to your requirements, you can do this simply just by dragging simply by dragging it to the new place in the sidebar. You can also hide unwanted options.
Large cover photo with updated profile:-
This is something that google+ has borrowed from facebook that is provision to place cover photo. But thing is that now you can place a larger profile photo on the right side and at the same time can have two types of profile cover photos, one is regular sliced photo and the other is large unsliced cover photo.
Hangout section now improved:-
Google+ was launched in 2011 and was quite popular due to the hangouts that were present on the interface which captured the minds of users to a large extent. It’s easy to use and gives us the fun to connect with our friends. The new hangouts section brings a separate tab in the sidebar where you can join different public hangouts in active state.
