Acer officially update Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Acer Iconia A500 And A100. At the time of its announcement Acer not include the Android 4.0 ICS update for Acer Iconia A500 And Iconia A100. The Android 4.0 ICS firmware update will begin to roll out on April 27th. Both the tablets are based on the Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset and come with 1 GB of RAM. According to the size of the tablet the Acer Iconia Tab A500 features a 10.1-inch display with screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels where as the Iconia Tab A100 features a 7-inch display with screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
After getting Android 4.0 ICS update both the tablets having improved performance as well as new features. The Acer Iconia Tab A510 is now available for buy on the US market on Acer official store. The Iconia Tab A510 comes with a price tag of $499.99.
