At the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona LG announced the world’s first full 3D smartphone known as LG Optimus 3D. The LG Optimus 3D mobile runs on the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system. It is also the world’s first smartphone with the unique “tri-dual” configuration – dual-core, dual-channel and dual-memory. The LG Optimus 3D features 5 megapixel dual-lens camera.
